Hitachi-patented energy-saving features
APC: Active Power Control
When the load rate decreases, the system's pressure loss decreases, and the microcomputer automatically adjusts the upper and lower limit pressure values. When the load rate is 70%, enabling the APC function can save about 9% power consumption.
PSC: Power Save Control
When the loading and unloading cycle is more than 30 seconds, the microcomputer automatically reduces the upper limit pressure value to avoid unnecessary high-pressure operation
Effectively shorten the loading and unloading time, as short as 30 seconds. At 70% load, enabling the PSC function can save about 2% of power consumption.
ASS: Auto Start and Stop
If the industrial equipment pressure rises to the pre-set pressure and there is no load
The compressor will automatically stop if the condition continues for more than the set time.
If the pressure of the industrial equipment drops to the set pressure, the compressor will start automatically.
About oil-free screw machine rotor coating
• PFA (used by Hitachi SDS): poly perfluoro alkoxy ether tetrafluoroethylene
• PTFE (other brands): Teflon
Both have good heat resistance (260 degrees), chemical resistance, and non-adhesive and self-lubricating properties.
The main differences between PFA and PTFE are

PFA is a molten fluororesin. After high-temperature sintering, the resin forms a molten state, so there are no pores in the coating film, the structure is stronger, and the durability is better.
On the market, the price of PFA is more than ten times that of PTFE, which is more suitable for use in applications with high corrosion resistance requirements.
